Hello my name is Cathy. I just came across your Orchid on ebay. I then went to your blog page. I love what you did with the house. It makes me want to move right in. If it doesnt sell this week and you run it again next week I will try to buy it. I have just spent a small fortune this week on stuff for a Haunted Dollhouse I am working on to surprise my 9 year old grandson. He comes and spends every other weekend with me. When he was here this past weekend I bidded on 2 houses on ebay but didnt win either one.He was so disappointed. I had an arthur I had bought off ebay that was tore up pretty bad so I though that would make a good haunted house. Anyway I have been hard at work since Monday hoping to having it almost ready by the time he returns next Saturday. I would love to make your house into a coffee shop.
I have always wanted a dollhouse. When the “Borrowers ” books first came out I read them a long time ago. I have a son 23 now and I think he was around 10 when they first came out. Anyway like I said I have always wanted a dollhouse. I finally got my first one this past Jan. at 48 yrs old…LOL,and that started an obession. I now have 14 houses counting one my husband and I are building. I live in South Carolina. On Labor Day weekend my husband and I drove to Savannah Georgia to pick up a Pierce that I bought off of ebay. It had been bought from an estate sale and the people who sold it knew nothing about dollhouses. I got it for $56.00. It had a lot of pieces falling off of it and has never been painted but I am working on it. worst part someone did a sloppy job with a glue gun. Anyway I have tried several colors on it and havent found one I like. I saw the pictures of the cream/brown one on your site and now I think I will try that.
Well I just wanted to tell you how much I like your house and that I have really enjoyed your site. I have bookmarked it so I can keep up with whatever comes next. Thanks a lot,and nice meeting you…Cathy
